Description: This AM1 has a light grey smooth leather base, a choice purposely made by Eddie in order to make this a timeless shoe that could also stand the test of time. The grey was also a nod to the fog that settles around the concrete jungle of Downtown San Francisco. The perforated toe box was also a unique choice at the time, veering away from the typical nylon toe box that AM1s would usually don. The glossy finish on the textured mudguard was also a different touch to the traditional silhouette, possibly inspired by the heavy use of patent leather during that era of footwear design. The signature profile Swooshes on the sidewall are formed from a tumbled leather in volt green, using HUF’s signature colour that has remained since the brand first came onto the scene. Premium materials and extra padding on the inside colour gives this version an extra comfy on-foot feel, giving you yet another reason to own this fire colourway.
